What’s the Best HVAC Technology today? VRF! (Variable Refrigerant Flow) PART 1 of 4

According to the DOE Heating/Cooling accounts for 56% of the Average home in America’s energy use.  (Source here).  Since this is such a huge slice of the energy pie, I thought it would be good to dedicate some time to discussing the most efficient equipment available today.

My friend Kristof Irwin is a leading national expert on HVAC design and I’ve seen him give some fantastic presentations on VRF so I asked him to break his 60 min presentation down into 4 podcasts for my video blog.  Here’s part 1 of a 4 part series.

I’m sold on VRF as being THE most efficient, comfortable, and reliable equipment on the market today…but I’d love for you to watch these series of videos to understand why I have come to this conclusion.
