Reclaimed Pine Boards Milled Onsite Into Flooring

We just completed a 1950’s whole house remodel in the South Austin neighborhood of Barton Hills.  The clients sourced some 100+ year old pine shiplap boards that were originally used for sheathing in a home near San Antonio.  In this video you’ll see how we milled this into a beautiful hardwood floor.  It’s tough to tell in the video but we used a black epoxy fill for the random holes.  Also, if you’re planning a job like this be sure to buy a good router bit set for the tongue/grooves.  The router bit set in the video is by Amana Tool Company and can be found HERE on their website.  We found it to be an excellent value and produced great cuts.   -Matt Risinger
