I’m writing this blog post as I overlook the fountain at the Bellagio hotel! I’m here early for the IBS show and enjoying some vacation time with my wife. We got here Thursday and have enjoyed some great food & entertainment. But, the work starts today for me. I’m about to head to the convention center to build the mock-ups at the High Performance Building Zone in the South Hall. I’ll be speaking Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at the HPBZ from 11:15Am-12:15Pm on three different Building Science topics. Here’s a link to all the HPBZ schedules. And this is my three topics:
Be sure to come visit me if you are at the show. I’d love to say Hi to my blog readers!
I’m excited about the show this year. I’m hearing lots of buzz about new products that will be unveiled, and of course I’m bringing my film crew! I have plans to shoot between 8-10 videos and we will be editing all night so all of these videos will be posted on my YouTube channel during the show. If you aren’t a subscriber to my channel you can find me at www.YouTube.com/MattRisinger and hit the subscribe button so you’ll get notified of my new content.
Lastly, I’ve got a speaking engagement lined up with my friends at Sugatsune (Japanese manufacturer that makes some killer Hardware) . They are in the North Hall as part of the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show or KBIS. I’ll be presenting a short “How to – Hidden Doors” talk at their booth #N1751 on Wed afternoon followed by a Happy Hour.
Comment below if you have some ideas for my videos this week at #IBSVegas, or if there is something you’d like me to cover. Lots of my favorite brands are going to be at the show and I’m excited to see what the have to offer. Hope to see you in Las Vegas!
PS> If you aren’t going you should check my Instagram or Twitter feeds as I’ll be burning up the Social Media this week, and you’ll get a good sense of the show…
