Come see me speak next Thursday Feb 23rd at the AIA office.

I was asked to speak next week at the AIA.  I’d love to have a “Friendly Audience” if you can make it:

LEED/Green Residential Projects Lessons Learned

The AIA Austin Committee on the Environment (COTE) presents an evening with LEED/Green residential panelists who have designed, built, monitored and lived in sustainable homes in the Austin area for at least 4 years.  This time period has given them the knowledge of what green aspects work well in Central Texas and what doesn’t.  We’ll discuss the tried and true do’s and don’ts of LEED/Green residential design.  Our panelists are:
Peter Pfeiffer, FAIA, LEED AP
Matt Risinger, Risinger Homes
John Umphress, City of Austin, Austin Energy Green Building Program
Moderator:  Justin Scanio, Assoc. AIA
Just think how many great ideas you’ll gather for your designs and your own home!  We’ll see you there!
